He is currently focusing his time on teaching Russian, but if you are interested in learning one of the languages listed in one of the sections of the EIZ library, he should be able to guide you towards the right material suited to your level and learning preferences.
Cultural education
To provide cultural education, an EIZ LTD teacher must have lived in a country for more than six months.
For give an example of cultural nuances, an individual learning Chinese tried to produce marketing material for their company writing something similar to:
在我们公司,每一个想法都与一个问题相关联。 最佳链接数是四个。
In our company, every idea is associated with a problem. The optimal number of links is four.
Anyone who has lived in China for a significant period of time will know about the significance of numbers in Chinese culture. Four (四 / sì) is considered an unlucky number; it sounds similar to the word for death.
This would not have been a good phrase for the marketing materials of the firm!
